Newton Arboretum & Botanical Gardens
The Newton Arboretum & Botanical Gardens (NABG) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) privately managed, public garden dedicated to using horticulture as a catalyst for community connection. We provide a place to discover the language of nature spoken through plants.
The NABG is 6 acres of cultivated landscape and another 13.5 acres of seedling prairie. Some features include:
- Smith Landscape Pond
- Umbrella Trellis Garden
- Betty Allen Gazebo
- Maxine’s Bow Bridge
And so many more. It’s the perfect place to slow down, open your senses, and explore.
The grounds also house the Daniel J. and Ann L. Krumm Event Center. When not in use by the board of directors, the Krumm Center is available to the public for private events.
As a volunteer-based organization, collaboration is integral to our success. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment that values trust, caring, and respect. We also encourage lifelong learning and creativity. Our goal is to make a lasting, positive impact on our community and environment. We grow Beauty, Community, and Connection earth deep.
